FAQs

  Q.  Do I have to stay with my child?

  A.  From experience we find that children respond better to this kind of class without the parent being present, however we would never turn you away if you wanted to stay. There is a coffee shop in The Memorial Centre if you would prefer to stay on the premises. However for our baby class an adult must accompany the child.

  Q.  What if my child is sick or we want to miss a session, do we get a refund?

  A.  No refunds are given.  Please let us know if you are going to be absent from a class so that we can adjust our planning for that lesson accordingly. It is sometimes possible to attend an alternative class.

Q.  How will I know what my child does in the class each week?

  A.  You will receive a weekly email providing an overview of what we will be teaching in class.  At the beginning of each half term we will provide new vocabulary and songs for you to practise at home if you wish. Your child will also receive occasional handouts to reinforce what we have taught in the lesson.

  Q.  Are you insured/DBS checked/first aid trained?

  A.  We are fully insured and all teachers hold a current DBS certificate.  Two of our teachers are paediatric first aid trained.

 Q.  How do I pay for classes?

 A. Fees should be paid by direct bank transfer to Lloyds Bank Sort code 30-97-73, Account number 37995868.  Please include your child's name in the reference field.
